The Job:
Based in our US Sales headquarters in Woburn, MA, you will provide support and act as technical contact for many of our customers in North America. The right candidate is well-rounded, energetic, and a creative multi-tasker who likes variety and thrives in a challenging environment. A thoughtful, dedicated, quick-thinker with strong problem solving skills will succeed in our culture.
You will be involved in the following:

Primary technical point of contact for North American customers (both pre and post-sales)

Provision of demonstration and test programs based around our Pentium
M and Dual Core Processor products.

Testing and
installation of several industry-standard
operating systems.

Provide our marketing and sales force with technical back-up, both pre-sales and post-sales, and to generate appropriate supporting documentation.

Travel to customer sites for demonstrations, presentations, and technical support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Electrical Engineering or
Computer Science qualification preferred, with experience in at least
three of the areas below.

Knowledge
of x86 architecture (ideally including a good understanding of PCI and
PCI Express)

C, and
assembly languages
-
System
administration using Linux
-
VxWorks, or
other real-time operating systems
-
Systems
programming for Windows XP or Linux

Embedded
software development
-
Knowledge
of VME or CompactPCI bus architecture
The
ability to communicate effectively with the company's customers at an
engineering level, both verbally and in writing, is an important
additional requirement as is the ability to work as part of a team.
